Being Seen - SpillianQuest

Compass
I knew it!

Forest
Knew what?

Compass
That they'd choose Being Seen.

Forest
How very predictable of you.

The Forest turns to you.

Forest
What was it about this bargain that caught you?

Compass
Take your time! Just let us know when you're ready.
We'll see you on the other side.

Next?

Compass
Being Seen! Now that's an interesting wish.

Forest
Entirely understood? By everyone?

Compass
Oh, wouldn't that be marvelous!

Forest
Even if they wandered into the Carnival of Perfection?

Compass
Oh.

Forest
Yeah.

Compass
Thought bubbles over their heads would be a nightmare. They might not make it out in one piece.

Forest
I rather like being a mystery. Even to myself, sometimes.

Compass
Yes, but there are so many things I wish someone would notice.

Forest
Even the things you'd rather keep hidden?

Compass
Especially those, perhaps.

Forest
How curious.

They turn to you again.

Forest
What are you afraid it might cost you to be entirely understood?

Compass
And what do you wish someone could see?

Onward!

Forest
Well. I wonder what they'll do with all that.

Compass
Shall we give them somewhere to begin?

Forest
A declaration, then!

Compass
Must it be a declaration?

Forest
Certainly. We don't get many.

They turn to you.

Forest
Are you ready? Are you willing?

A QUEST DECLARATION

How might you dare to let yourself be seen?

Declaration

I Do Declare.

Compass
Oh, well done!

Forest
Every quester finds something we haven't seen before. It's delicious.

Compass
The Claviger would want to know. There's a Ledger of Quest Beginnings in the Imaginarium, you see. And the Rumpus Court will insist on the appropriate ceremonies.

Forest
They have already granted a rosette...

Compass
May we tell the Claviger? And alert the Rumpus Court that there are party plans to be made?

Forest
And we'll send your words back to you. So you can remember your choice, and your daring.

Compass
I expect we'll have more questions.
And perhaps even point you in a new direction.
